Safwan Halabi, M.D.

Dr. Halabi, a board-certified radiologist fellowship trained in pediatric radiology, is the Medical Director of Radiology Informatics at the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, Stanford.

His goal is to treat every patient and family member as if they were part of his own family. He strives to perform the most appropriate imaging exam with the least radiation possible promoting quality and safety.

Dr. Halabi has been actively involved with the imaging informatics community over the past several years as a radiology trainee, fellow, and attending. His research interests include - data mining, developing and implementing radiology clinical decision support, evaluating clinical outcomes as they relate to the efficacy of medical imaging, critical and unexpected finding result communication delivery systems and evaluation and testing of software and hardware for the radiology department. He has numerous publications in the radiology and medical informatics literature.
