Sabiha S. Bunek, DDS

Dr. Sabiha Bunek is an internationally recognized expert in the field of dentistry. She is the CEO and Editor-in-Chief of DENTAL ADVISOR, leading a seasoned team of researchers and clinicians in reporting evidence-based data relating to clinical and laboratory properties of dental products and materials.

She earned her DDS degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and maintains a private practice in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Her unique and multi-faceted career as a clinician and editor provides a valuable vantage point to bridge the gap between science and real-world clinical applications.

Dr. Bunek is passionate about education, lecturing frequently to other clinicians across the United States on the utilization of high-quality products and techniques to best serve their patients. She is a published author and has been nationally recognized by Seattle Study Club as one of the Top 10 Young Educators in Dentistry and by Dental Products Report, who named her one of the Top 25 Women in Dentistry in the areas of research and education, and most recently the recipient of the Clinical Expertise Award from the Lucy Hobbs Project for Clinical Excellence.Dr. Bunek currently serves on the Editorial Board and is a reviewer for the Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry, and also serves on the Executive Board of the Society for Color and Appearance in Dentistry (SCAD). She is Adjunct Scientist at Houston Center for Biomaterials and Biomimetics, and Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where she is a consultant to the Michigan Pittsburgh Wyss Regenerative Medicine Resource Center.
